EMPIRE APARTMENTS

Part of a 15-year association with The Cafritz Foundation in Washington, DC. as the principal designer for the historic apartment buildings in their residential real estate portfolio. This project involved a complete restoration and renovation of all public areas in an Art Deco apartment house built in 1939 by developer Morris Cafritz and designed by architects Alvin Aubinoe and Harry Edwards. Included in the renovation and upgrading of the building was the design of a branding identity for marketing and an interior and exterior sign program to compliment and promote the historic features of the building as an amenity for prospective renters.
